About the Author
Shauna H.L.P. is a newly published writer who grew up in the Midwest. She grew up traveling with family, drum corps, the army, and solo. Through all of these experiences, she has learned about perspective and the connections we share with those around our space. This inspired her first book, Past: Decider's Bane.
Synopsis:
Past lives have never meant this much before.
Past: Decider's Bane is a literary fiction epic novel that follows the life of one soul through five lives. In each life, the protagonist must determine which of three other souls is strong enough to face an entity that is on course to destroy humanity. This is done through the eyes of a Viking, Scottish detective, a Russian girl, a convicted criminal, and an dystopian outcast. In every life, a recurring nemesis is bound by fate to stop them, and will try to claim the title of Decider as their own. One has been tasked to choose our hero, and it is our only option to save the last known life in the universe, but there are three ways to do it. Who will it be? And will they even succeed?
